Publication Ethics

EWA Publishing is committed to the standards of publishing integrity and academic honesty. Editors, reviewers and authors are encouraged to refer to COPE: Committee on Publication Ethics and to follow its guidelines (Search results guidelines).

Plagiarism

All journals published by EWA Publishing are committed to original material that has not been published elsewhere or is under review elsewhere. Copying from someone else's paper or failing to give proper credit are considered plagiarism. Manuscripts, published or unpublished, that are found to have been plagiarized from the manuscripts of other authors will be subject to plagiarism sanctions.

Data Fabrication and Falsification

Submitted manuscripts that are found to have fabricated or falsified experimental results, including manipulation of images, will be subject to sanctions for data fabrication and falsification.

Duplicate submission

Manuscripts found to have been published or under review elsewhere will incur submission/publication sanctions.

Redundant publication

Any published research, including data, graphs and images, must be attributed with detailed attribution. If authors use their previously published work or work currently under review as a basis for their submitted manuscripts, they must cite the previous work.

Sanctions

If any journal has documented violations of the above policies, EWA Publishing will take the following sanctions:

Immediately rejection of the infringing manuscript.
Restracting the published manuscripts, refer to COPE 's Retraction guidelines.
If violations of the above policies are found to be particularly serious, EWA Publishing reserves the right to impose additional sanctions on the above policies.

Before publication, EWA Publishing will review all manuscripts using the powerful text comparison tool: iThenticate. This procedure aims to prevent scholarly and professional plagiarism.
